Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 9:35AM i think we can all agree that sundays are just the day before monday and monday is a beast making sunday the day that is wasted thinking about monday..i know my husband can attest to this one.
so for that i give you happiness in the form of places you want to live in..
the yellow curtains take this belgian-y room into girly pretty...a great marriage i think...
i think we all know how i feel about organized stacks of shit..

it's glowing and needs a cigarette..
i don't know if this is tile, wallpaper or handpainted, stenciled..what?
but i likes it..

i think this is a perfect formal living room set up, so great for cocktails before dinner...and that art is killing me smalls...
i think it's a rumpled bed...
oh tolix...you still are my dream chairs...
not to mention dining table made library table is so chic and practical at the same time...
textural patterned heaven....
a long time fave...
the mix of styles is astoundingly good here...
and last but not least...
not one thing wrong in this room..
well styled, perfect pillows, books serve as focal point (and they're not COLOR CODED!!!), shiny light fixture, patterned couch and the rest is neutral...oh this room is good.
i sure hope your monday thru friday goes quick and painlessly.

Thanks for the great pics. They're helping me cope with the "Sunday dread." I was looking at a ton of wallpaper yesterday and think Jonathan Adler makes some patterns similar to the black-and-white design and the blue scroll-y one.
I like how that dog matches the chaise thingy (right word escapes me but as it's 6.24 a.m. on MONDAY here I can surely be forgiven!); and the fact that it won't lie in its plush red dog bed. My dumb cat's the same. Happy Monday when you get there.
that living room with the rumpled bed art is making me woozy. in a good way.
I love the couch in that last picture... a few months ago I actually reorganized my books by genre, author and country of origin... like a person who might actually read!
Also, I think that wallpaper is dedar allahambra... like $212 a roll...

Excuse me, I randomly stumbled upon your blog through another and while looking at this post noticed the "suede egg chair" photo looking eerily reminiscent of a room in the San Francisco Design Showcase. Could you tell me if in fact it's the origin of the photo? Or possibly my mind is playing tricks on me..
