it's all so good.

she/they obviously had shit custom fitted..

***updates- the cabinets are from ikea. the unlacquered brass hardware was found in vintage shops and on ebay

seriously great. I have always dreamed of a fireplace in the kitchen. I looked at a house that had one once, but it was over my budget and there were no closets in the bedrooms. Since then I decided that one day I would have a high hearth fireplace in either my kitchen or dining room dream house. Kitchen gets 4 hearts, rest of house gets 3.25 hearts because it's a little dark for me and they don't have enough shit lying about.

that fridge is sweet. and they didnt try to make the faucet match all the brassness, is good. its got me thinking of saltillo floors done in herringbone pattern.

I give it 5 hearts. LOVE that kitchen. You're so right -- it's just perfect in size and scale and materials. I love that fireplace as focal point and it's flanked by windows. Just gorgeous. This is my new favorite kitchen!

I know a thing or two about retro revival, being one in person ha ha. I had these dining room chairs in my NY loft when I was an art student. Don't get excited. I'm so old that the loft was on a rat filled street behind Canal Street before Tirbeca was Tribeca, and the rent was $200. But the chairs were priimo. xo xo

i want taller kitchen counters. dont those seem a little taller than norm? or maybe shes small. either way, my new kitchen will have higher than normal countertops.
Those floors are killing me, along with all the brass. And is that a pizza oven in the fireplace? And that light fixture over the fireplace? Shut the front door, this place is fabulous. I am dreaming of marble countertops in my Kitch and I will have them. This is just beautiful but I am one with mark. As a tall girl i need high counter tops and would need my oven off the floor.
