it's secret like so i can't say who and all that... but it goes without saying that i diarrhea'd down my leggings.

have you guys heard about the pin it to win it thing from 1stdibs?

 

in a nutshell you create a pinterest board called 'living with style'..

then you start pinning all of your ideas for the perfect living room using at least 3 items from 1stdibs.

then you can pin whatever you want.

well folks,

thanks to all of you surfers and ex surfers and sisters of surfers i learned that 

 surfboards are way too disgusting to keep in your house because they are full of sand and wax and smell of the ocean, i.e. a dead hooker.

 

thanks for keeping me straight.

 

 

filled with a fire-hot thirst for knowledge (not really)..i went on a search for the paint color in charlotte moss's office featured in lonny...

 

 

because it is just so pretty and it is going to look just so perfect in my dining room.

 

 

no amount of googling was working. 

lonny wouldn't tell me either.

so i emailed charlotte moss no big deal.

 

i was pretty certain i wouldn't hear back..

but i was wrong.

 

a friendly fellow named matthew emailed me back with the answer.

it is..

so now we all know.

what are your thoughts on the color?

i think it's mysteriously green.

not too aqua not too blue not too green.

do you like surfboards? you might be a douche.

this isn't so much a post as it is me dumping my amassed collection of photos of interiors featuring surf boards propped against something.

because for some reason i fancy myself a surfer type person who lives 5 miles from the beach and has a tan.

instead of a pasty southerner who lives 5 miles from the busiest airport in the world.

 

in any case..

pros:

-displaying a surfboard is primarily a practical thing bc where else are you going to put it?

-they are usually interesting to look at with their pretty colors and sculptural quality.

-they say hey, look at me..i surf a little, how rad is that?

 

cons:

-they make you say things like rad probably.

-you could be an extreme douche who just likes the way they look but in reality you are scared of the ocean (me).
