this whole situation is one thousand percent THE vibe.
i could really see myself here.

didn’t even know colored grout was an option. currently flooded with ideas.
“‘scuse me, pardon me, sorry, ‘scuse me…need to use the loo, pardon me…so sorry.”
i love it and find it slightly too quaint. what are your thoughts.

well hello. did you know there are very few decent shower curtains out there? we haven’t needed a shower curtain in years. but now with the pending tear down of our only shower we have had to refit our clawfoot tub with a shower conversion kit + shower curtain. i ordered this one that goes all the way around like the above pic bc that’s exactly what we need, and we would most likely take it off once the shower is fixed. but i wanted to share a few i’ve found that i think would be so great if you’re in the market for a pretty curtain that will be permanent.
this rose colored ombre, i think this sun or moon curtain could be really cool in the right space, this is fun,
just throwing this out there.

other things of note-
this corn frittata sounds really delicious. pretty over that basic bitch cob.
this oil body wash was awesome. i say was because fiona and i powered through it pretty quick. the smell is a bit like this classic. i am very sensitive to smells and do not find this overpowering in the least. i just wish it came in a bigger bottle.
kind of very obsessed with this shower situation. you could park a car in there.
facts. first chill breeze and i am dreaming about clothes. REAL clothes. actual outfits. i always defer to the “what’s new” section at net-a-porter and that’s real dumb bc my limited budget of zero dollars makes it difficult to actually shop there.
checks and plaids are the heralds of fall clothing. for me at least. i’m sure this goes back to ralph lauren’s epic fall campaigns back in the 80’s.

color, pattern-on-pattern, beams, tile, wallpaper, wicker…in the french countryside.
i really need to see more of that kitchen.
copenhagen fashion week happened. didn’t even know. covid is a dirty dirty whore. anyway, i’ve been pouring through street style shots all weekend. i know fashion feels like the least important thing right now, because FASCISM, but it’s a hopeful distraction for some of us.
so what were the danes serving up? laid back vibes of course, in varying approaches- lots of monochromatic looks, from all black or all white to all pink etc, LOTS of color blocking which IMO is the easiest way to pull together something stylish. there was also a fair amount of two toned looks. for eksempel: one black shoe and the other the same but white. or a pair of shorts, one leg black, the other white. i can’t say i hate it but i does feel like an uber trend. i’d still fuck with it. still happening are voluminous dresses and sport sandals. which is very very perfect for the swamp temps of august.
