happy monday. i sincerely hope everyone is mentally hanging in there. you know how they say it gets worse before it gets better? just a few more weeks. we’ll get through this. hopefully no more unscathed than we already are.
anyway….just wanted to let y’all know that i will be listing a batch of irises (8 or so) tomorrow and this will be the last iris release for a while. so if you’ve had your heart set on one please don’t hesitate to snatch it up!

good day to you. i hope your holidays were a restful and reflective time, peppered with lots of joy. but above all i hope you come back to life renewed and inspired. i am inspired and fired up. i took a sharp turn at the corner of sadness and terror on dec. 27th or so and decided i needed to just work. work work work. and so that’s what i have been doing. on new year’s eve i made this spectacularly large painting and tho i am still tweaking it here and there i love it! it is just pure intuitive mark making. what a joy.
i also made some irises. also pure joy. i plan on making many more of these as soon as the sun comes out. much rain has limited the light in my house.

who’s watching sanditon? bridgerton? i am finding sanditon much more agreeable. it’s filling the downton sized hole in my heart.
i made this the other day and it was absolutely delicious. i used lacinato kale instead of savoy bc it wasn’t available. but it’s definitely a keeper. also didn’t have mi-cuit tomatoes bc i don’t know what the fuck they are. still delicious. (savoy cabbage i meant to say)

the stocking is an underrated and underutilized vessel for gifts. if you put an orange in my stocking you’ll get stabbed.
i don’t hate practical gifts in the stocking but mix it up with some showstoppers, ya know?

gua sha for the body - i have this brand’s face gua sha set and it is THE best. the stone is made of basalt and it stays cold without refrigeration (until your face warms it up obv.) and the oils are heaven.
portable christmas tree candle - cedar, spruce, fir, pine….all the trees.
but go beyond just the candle and include a vintage match striker.
a fancy razor - not really but it’s heaps better than the one she buys from publix.

lord jones bath salts - i have. they gooood. smell amazing.
eera earring - my favorite italian fashion girl made a very very very expensive earring. and yes, it’s just one earring. again, don’t question.
sun potion pearl powder - i put this in my coffee every morning and am on my second container. i have noticed a difference in the overall “bounciness” of my skin. it’s like collagen but better.
unicorn salt - this is good. i put it on everything. seriously.
