i admit without shame that i live for the real housewives.

not all of them, and some more than others..

but, RHONY are without a doubt my favorite. 

not much to report with the current season as we are only 1 episode in..

but everyone looks real pretty.

looks like it's going to be a fun season. 

which means lots of forced get togethers with drinking.

just some stashed craigslist finds..

i am always searching for 1-5 things on craigslist at all times.

a lounge chair, a coffee table, outdoor furniture, dining chairs, cane things, elusive things, impossible-to-find things.

i keep a craigslist folder full of all the awesome things i find. 

not necessarily for me but awesome none the less.

things like this..

brass inlaid table- $99

i would porch this. 

it's special.

percival lafer-style sofa- $395

 i'm not so sure about the color.

would you call that, sage?  poo poo?

in the right space it might be ok.

not mine though.

vintage brass sculpture- $40

if i had a spot for this i'd get it. 

it's a little too intense for my tiny house.

campaign dresser- $75

this is about as perfect as it gets on craigslist.

i love the color.

i see it in a little boy's room.

indigo walls?

hanging chairs- $100

if my porch ceiling wasn't about to rot through i'd get one of these for fiona.

bedroom furniture- $1200

this pink bedroom set is pretty fantastic. 

i'd use it with a lot of 70's weirdness (crazy portraits and animal lamps), modern touches (wallpaper) and plenty of texture (painted out molding and a shaggy rug). 

bamboo shaving stand- $140

crazy cute!  

i'd put it in an entry rather than a bathroom. 

though it would work there too.

daylight savings happened which means everyone is probably bleary-eyed. 

have you ever taken the time to read about the origin of DST?

guess what? 

it's down to the cost of candles. for serious.

arguably the only good thing about DST is taking advantage of more daylight. 

i guess. 

so on that note...

here are some outdoor spaces that i'd like to take advantage of..

or something..

that last one is kind of epic. 

if this is a place that is public i need to know where it is.
