happy last day of 2015. it was 11 years ago today that my vagina entered defcon 4 and a giant 9lb human emerged.

here are my favorite dining rooms of 2015...

i would eat on the floor of this room.

i am longing for blue walls in the bedroom. somewhere between blue and gray but leaning toward blue more than gray. i see it in my head. but ever on the hunt for the perfect shade. it's elusive this blue. and i am ocd picky. - patrick baty paints (for what it's worth a benjamin moore professional can mix any of those colors if you bring them that little number code there.)

who doesn't want a waist-cinching denim jacket for spring?

i confess to being more than a little obsessed with this belt. i would more than likely wear it never.

this rug. this rug is special.

this lavender silk shantung eye mask. my old mask smells weird.

yves klein blue suede potholders. c'mon.

these are the ones that had me wanting to start over or escape to europe

the truth is there weren't a lot of bedrooms that had me like whoa this year.

there is a trend happening that seems to be taking over.

indigo. batik. house plants. nature photography. sheepskin. metal lamps.

i don't dislike those elements separately but when they are all together therein lies "the look".

thoughts?

it's the end of another year (who cares) and here are the best places i would like to hunker down for a long winter's dump, or a hot bath or place to go where you can actually lock the door and hide from your family on those days you might need to.
