well folks,

thanks to all of you surfers and ex surfers and sisters of surfers i learned that 

 surfboards are way too disgusting to keep in your house because they are full of sand and wax and smell of the ocean, i.e. a dead hooker.

thanks for keeping me straight.

filled with a fire-hot thirst for knowledge (not really)..i went on a search for the paint color in charlotte moss's office featured in lonny...

because it is just so pretty and it is going to look just so perfect in my dining room.

no amount of googling was working. 

lonny wouldn't tell me either.

so i emailed charlotte moss no big deal.

i was pretty certain i wouldn't hear back..

but i was wrong.

a friendly fellow named matthew emailed me back with the answer.

what are your thoughts on the color?

i think it's mysteriously green.

not too aqua not too blue not too green.

do you like surfboards? you might be a douche.

this isn't so much a post as it is me dumping my amassed collection of photos of interiors featuring surf boards propped against something.

because for some reason i fancy myself a surfer type person who lives 5 miles from the beach and has a tan.

instead of a pasty southerner who lives 5 miles from the busiest airport in the world.

in any case..

pros:

-displaying a surfboard is primarily a practical thing bc where else are you going to put it?

-they are usually interesting to look at with their pretty colors and sculptural quality.

-they say hey, look at me..i surf a little, how rad is that?

cons:

-you could be an extreme douche who just likes the way they look but in reality you are scared of the ocean (me).

i am getting an xray today.

the pain has subsided somewhat but it's still there so i think it's more than a pulled muscle but less than cancer.

pain(t) **updates from urgent care

let me just go ahead and tell you that i got kicked in the left kidney by a horse and that horse is called upward facing dog.

either that or i am in acute kidney failure.

yesterday, mid-day i started feeling said pain and thought...eh..just some soreness from yesterday's yoga but it just kept getting worse.

i can't even take a deep breath ya'll.

what do i do?

heating pad does nothing. 

no position is comfortable and if i sneeze i think it would kill me.

advil helped minimally.

is this a chiro job?

a massage job?

help me...it hurts.

i have painting to do and this is putting a damper on that SUPERFUN job.

besides lower left side pain i am feeling the brain pain of having to make a decision about something hard.

the fact of the matter is this..

i have the most awesome trim in my house.

but i think i need to paint it out in this room for the modern look i am going for.

in fact, i KNOW this is the right choice.

but i am no less terrified.

why?

how stupid is it to be terrified of paint?

 ****ok, so i went to urgent care bc thanks to you i thought i might have a kidney infection.

my pee says there is no infection.

just a muscle spasm.

but it feels like dying.

so now it's just me, some high quality heroin muscle relaxers, 800 mg motrin, moist heat and some soup (and cookies).
