i worked on some entry decor for a client in london. 

here is the before..

already pretty great. 

but this is going to make it a whole lot better...

fiona's room is getting a little mini-makeover.

pale blue walls and those new lamps for starters.

followed by bamboo blinds and some lack shelves that i will paint to match the walls. 

she has 40 million books and they currently live in plastic bins on the floor in her closet. 

 

and..

i also ate the shit out of some shit.

easter is my favorite.

but she only said that out loud because aviva made up the lie about carole using a ghost writer. 

confused?

basically aviva is a fucking lunatic and carole is awesome.

it's pretty much my style 100% of the way. 


eyelet hideaway dress + boots

there isn't anything she wears in the catalog that i don't want on me.

tunic  +  jeans

vest + t shirt + jeans + booties

the kids are calling it "cool. sexy. tomboy"

i'll start with all of those and then add these shoes, this dress and this tee

 

 

tuesday i am getting a haircut..

3 of my favorite outdoor spaces.

 

1.  formal black and white with lots of potted plants.

you could do this on a small scale and it would be just as awesome.

the key is those bold black and white stripes and restrained color palette. 

 

 

2. casual bohemian.

this just looks easy and inviting.  

you could set it up and break it down in a minute and that appeals.
